"Charismata" is a Greek term referring to the good gifts and spiritual graces given by God. These gifts are granted to every Christian to be used for the good of others.
On October 22nd, 2011 Grace Faith Church held a benefit concert featuring the God-given musical gifts of:
We'd like to thank the musicians as well as everyone else who helped organize the event. All proceeds went to benefit the ministry of Soeuth and Syna Lao, missionaries serving in Poipet, Cambodia. (http://www.cmalliance.org/worker/lao-soeuth-syna)
Grace Faith Church sent a Vision Team to Cambodia in the summer of 2009 to establish a long term, multi-year ministry partnership with the missionary couple, Soeuth and Syna Lao. We first met the Laos during Missions Weekend in 2008 where they shared their powerful testimony of surviving the Killing Fields of the 1970s and then returning to serve as missionaries in their beloved home country. The Laos’ testimony, coupled with the Vision Team sharing upon their return, has moved our church body toward a committed involvement in Cambodia missions.
In 2010 and 2011 we were able to send two short-term missions teams to Cambodia! We focused on serving in children's ministries working with a local feeding program as well as traveling to different villages to visit house churches. We also taught English in a local school and worked on their new church building. We hope to continue the work that was started by the Vision Team!
