Reverend Albert L. Wong has been called to pastor at Grace Faith Church since the summer of 1999. After spending his early childhood in Taiwan, he grew up in New York City and has lived in four out of the five boroughs. While he is open to serving God anywhere, he has a distinct passion to minister within the urban context. Having earned a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute, he was almost immediately called by God to build up a different type of "house".
In 1996, Pastor Albert graduated from Alliance Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. Shortly after, he was ordained by the Christian and Missionary Alliance in 1998. He has served in full time pastoral ministry since 1996. Driven by the call of God to minister in the midst of a spiritually dark place such as New York City, he is eager to be a part of what God is doing within this great city. Pastor Albert has a heart to see the transforming work of Christ take place in people's lives. He is blessed to be married to Cindy and they have three children together.
Ms. Megin Lea Williams, originally from Augusta, Georgia, is the newest addition to the staff, coming on board as the Community Outreach/Youth Director for Grace Faith Church during the Summer of 2007. Megin received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercer University in Macon, GA where she majored in Music and Christianity. During college, she experienced the call of God upon her life to step out of her comfort zone and to serve as a missionary in cross-cultural settings, specifically China. Subsequently, she spent her next four summers teaching English to Jr. High, High School, and University students with the English Language Institute of China in Hong Kong, China and Lhasa Tibet. After graduation from Mercer, Megin continued her studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where she received her Masters of Arts in Missions and Evangelism and was enabled to study further world religions, cultures, and how to minister in cross-cultural contexts.
Megin's passion is for working in the urban context and bringing the light of Christ into the lives of young people enslaved by the darkness of sin and faith in anything other than Jesus Christ. Furthermore, Megin is humbled that God has called her into a ministry through which she is able to watch people from all tribes, tongues, and nations come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Megin currently lives with her dog Jirem and her cat Abraham. She enjoys music, drama, writing, shopping, anything pink, baseball, running, and eating pizza.
